Bashar Barakah (July 19th, 1999 - Feb. 19 20th, 2020) Professionally known as Pop Smoke was an American artist. Victor Victor Worldwide, Republic Records and Bashar Barakah Jackson were his recording labels. Pop Smoke gained popularity as an Brooklyn drill producer after collaborating with UK producers 808Melo Axl Beats & Yoz Beatz. Welcome to the Party was the debut single off his debut mixtape Meet the Woo, which he released in July 2019 Two remixes were recorded of Welcome to the Party in August 2019, featuring American rapper Nicki Minaj and British Rapper Skepta. Pop Smoke's breakout song Welcome to the Party was released in April 2019. It was the first single from his debut mixtape Meet the Woo. It was later remixed two times one featuring Nicki Minaj and the other featuring Skepta in the month of August, 2019. The song was noted to have track used UK drill-produced music, and was later used in the entirety of his discography. This is due to his numerous collaborations as well as 808Melo (a British drill production company). Other well-known songs of his are Mpr Flexin and Dior. Since the release Welcome to the Party in 2013, he's collaborated with numerous well-known artists in the production of singles, such as War which features Lil Tjay; and 100k on the coupe, which features Calboy. Gatti, the final track in The album JackBoys album (2019) featuring Scott as well as Cactus Jack's band members as well as JackBoys was released in December, 2019.
